Artist Statement

  "Beauty surrounds us.  There is joy in life.  From a small child's smile to an ancient's wise eyes, from a small stream to the pounding surf, from a bouquet of faded garden flowers to  a riotous, colorful garden.  When I observe nature's abundance I have a driving urge to recreate the scene for others to enjoy in the only way in which I am capable, I paint.  Capturing the light, the color and emotion felt when painting a scene for others to enjoy is my life."
